CHICAGO (WLS) -- More Chicago children will soon be able to go to pre-K, city officials said Monday. The city plans to serve an additional 1,000 kids this school year.
As part of the move, the city plans to roll out out a new online tool that would make it easier for parents to enroll their toddlers in pre-kindergarten programs.
Educational programs like these have been proven to help children succeed in school, city officials said.
