PROSPECT HEIGHTS, Ill. (WLS) -- A tentative agreement has been reached between the Board of Education in Prospect Heights and the Prospect Heights Education Association (PHEA), officials announced Saturday.
PHEA will meet Sunday to vote on the new four-year collective bargaining agreement, officials said. If they ratify the contract, classes will resume Monday.
The board says it plans to vote on the agreement on Tuesday.
Prospect Heights teachers previously rejected what the board had called it's "best and final offer" Thursday. Students missed six days of school due to the strike.
