CHICAGO (WLS) -- Some activists are calling for a boycott of Chicago's annual breakfast honoring Martin Luther King Jr.

The boycott is a protest against Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who will be hosting the breakfast. Emanuel has been under fire since the release of dash cam video showing the deadly police shooting of Laquan McDonald.

Pastor Corey Brooks tweeted that he is joining the boycott and hopes other pastors do the same.
