6 vehicles involved in Riverdale crash

RIVERDALE, Ill. (WLS) -- Six vehicles were involved in a crash in south suburban Riverdale Thursday.

Witnesses said an SUV was fleeing one crash when it struck several other cars and went airborne near 146th and Indiana.

Fire officials said five people were treated on the scene and four others were transported to area hospitals.

Police said none of the injuries were believed to be life-threatening.
