CHICAGO (WLS) -- A person was taken into custody after threatening an employee at a Northwest Side elementary school Monday afternoon.
At the end of the school day at Ebinger Elementary School, a temporary employee threatened a school employee. Most of the children had left except for an after school program, but the school was placed on lockdown with police escorting staff and students out of the building.
The lockdown was lifted Monday afternoon. The person who made the threat was taken into custody late Monday night.
Chicago police were at the school Tuesday morning as a precaution.
