CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 14-year-old girl was wounded in a shooting in the Englewood neighborhood Monday morning.

The girl was walking with a group of females in the 6800 block of South Perry when someone in the group fired a shot, according to Chicago police. She was wounded in the left side of her forehead and transported to Comer Children's Hospital in stable condition.

No one is in custody.
