Woman shot in neck while sitting in car

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A woman in her late 20s was shot in the neck Saturday night just after 8 p.m. in the 3900 block of West Lexington in the North Lawndale neighborhood.

Police say she was in the driver's seat when the shooting occurred.

The woman was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
