Man shot, seriously injured outside West Town bar

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 29-year-old man was shot and seriously injured while standing outside a West Town bar late Friday night, police say.

Police say the victim was at Output Lounge and Sports Bar in the 1700-block of West Grand around 2 a.m. when the victim got into a fight with another man, who began shooting and struck him in the neck. The victim was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition.

Police are investigating. They have not said if the victim and shooter knew each other.
