CHICAGO (WLS) -- President Obama's former personal assistant Reggie Love is in Chicago to promote his book "Power Forward: My Presidential Education."
President Obama calls Love his "go-to" source for all critical and non-political information.
ABC7's Cheryl Burton spoke exclusively with Love about what he learned from the president about the importance of family.
"He kinda said to me, look, you know, I lost my mom at a very tender young age. You know, the thing I know that I can't get back is her, and I would give anything to have more time with her," Love said.
Love said he hasn't ruled out running for office. His new book went on sale early last month.
