2 killed after car flips in South Deering

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two people were killed after a car flipped and landed on its roof in the city's South Deering neighborhood, officials said.

The car allegedly hit parked cars before flipping around 10:30 p.m. Saturday near 103rd and Torrence, police said. Witnesses said they heard shots fired.

The driver, a 22-year-old male, was killed along with a 20-year-old passenger, officials said. Another passenger, a 20-year-old female, was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in stable condition. Their identities have not been released.
