Man tries to kidnap girl at South Side bus stop

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are looking for a man who tried to kidnap a girl from a South Side bus stop.

Police said the man grabbed the girl by the neck and tried to get her into his car Thursday night in the 3600-block of South King Drive. She refused and another man who witnessed the attempt helped stop it.

The offender, described as 6'2" and 225 pounds, drove away in a gray, midsize, four-door car.
