A pair of autographed, game-worn Air Jordan 1s, worn by Michael Jordan during the 1985 season with the Chicago Bulls just sold for $560,000 at an auction held by Sotheby's on Sunday.
These shoes previously sold for $437,500 last July, according to The Action Network.
His Airness is all over the place these days, thanks to "The Last Dance" (Episodes 9 and 10, 9 p.m. ET on ESPN). But Jordan memorabilia has been a hot commodity since the height of his career in the NBA.
These aren't even the first pair of shoes, worn by Jordan, to sell at auction this month. Last week, Heritage Auctions sold a pair of baseball cleats Jordan wore during his brief time playing minor league baseball. They went for $93,000.
Here's a look at some of the wild prices other Jordan memorabilia has sold for:
Game-worn Team USA Converse sneakers from the 1984 Olympics
Price: $190,373
Jordan is now almost synonymous with Nike, but he was a Converse man throughout college and wore the brand's shoes during the 1984 Summer Games. The pair sold was worn during the gold medal game when Jordan scored 20 points to win the first of his two Olympic gold medals.
According to ABC News, the last pair of shoes Jordan wore as an amateur were grabbed after the game by a ball boy who was the son of Los Angeles Lakers great Gail Goodrich.
Autographed, game-worn 1997 Air Jordan XIIs
Price: $104,765
These shoes were worn in Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz, better known as the "Flu Game." Fighting flu-like symptoms with the series tied 2-2, Jordan scored 38 points.
These, too, were swiped by a ball boy.
"I have looked at the shoes maybe four times since putting them in a safety deposit box 16 years ago," former Jazz ball boy Preston Truman told ESPN at the time of the auction. "I would go years without even thinking about it. ... I just didn't see the point to something so cool and a part of NBA history sitting at my bank anymore."
