'Steelworkers Park' dedicated at former US Steel site

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A new park sits on the former US Steel complex site on Chicago's Southeast Side.

The park was dedicated with a sculpture unveiling Saturday at what is now called "Steelworkers Park" near 87th and the Lake.

The park and sculpture serves honors the steel mill families that helped build that community. Many of them still live there.
