Daily Herald: Local pinball company has international ambitions

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. (WLS) -- Pinball has become a staple in arcades nationally - and after local company Stern Pinball Inc. relocates to Elk Grove Village next month, it will be a global hub for the next generation of pinball.

In addition to its building expansion, the company will hire on additional staff as part of an effort to expand internationally to countries such as China and India. And although the game has changed since its origins in the 1930's, its customer base is expanding.
