'Stone Talk Statue' from Shanghai's mayor unveiled in Chinatown

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The "Stone Talk Statue", a gift from the mayor of Shanghai, was unveiled Wednesday at Chicago's Ping Tom Park in Chinatown.

The gift is in recognition of the 30-year sister city relationship between Chicago and Shanghai. The city's vice mayor traveled here from China for the unveiling.

Mayor Emanuel says they met to discuss ways of strengthening their business and cultural ties.
