Woman ejected in SUV rollover on Tri-State Tollway near Deerfield

An SUV rolled over Sunday afternoon on southbound Interstate 94 near Deerfield, ejecting a woman who was not wearing a seatbelt, officials said.

Five people were in the vehicle when it was traveling on the Tri-State Tollway near Route 22 in Lake County.

In addition to the woman who was ejected, four other passengers sustained injuries, including a child who was not belted in.

No other vehicles were involved.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
