A Hawaii doctor accused of trying to kill his wife has been found guilty of attempted manslaughter following several hours of deliberations in the high-profile trial.
The pair are accused of meeting women at restaurants and bars, drugging them and then luring them back to Dr. Grant Robicheaux's California apartment to sexually assault them.
Court records indicate the doctor filed a lawsuit against several defendants, who are represented by the law firm where the lawyer was working.
Dean Faiello's stint as a fake doctor ground to a halt after the death of a woman in his care nearly 20 years ago.
He allegedly injected nerve blocking agents and other drugs into patient IV bags at a surgery center, resulting in the death of his coworker and multiple cardiac emergencies.
A California Attorney General's office has moved to revoke the Oakland surgeon's dental license, saying the allegations gave prosecutors concerns about him interacting with children.
