Teen dead in North Lawndale drive-by shooting

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 16-year-old boy is dead and two other people hurt in a drive-by shooting that happened Tuesday night in the North Lawndale neighborhood.

Chicago police said someone pulled up in a four-door sedan and opened fire in the 1300-block of South Kostner.

A 14-year-old girl and 42-year-old woman were also shot as they were standing on the porch.

The woman was shot in the right leg and the girl was shot in the back, police said. They were both taken to Stroger, where their conditions were stabilized.
