2 teens charged in robbery, burglaries in Evanston

EVANSTON, Ill. (WLS) -- Two teenagers were charged in a robbery and burglaries in north suburban Evanston.

Early Thursday, police said they saw a 16-year-old boy enter two unlocked vehicles.

When officers approached, they said the teen ran away.

He was eventually taken into custody.

The day before, police arrested a 17-year old, who they say robbed a man as he waited in an alley to buy drugs.
