23-year-old man fatally shot in West Rogers Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 23-year-old man was fatally shot in the city's West Rogers Park neighborhood Thursday afternoon, police said.

At about 1:20 p.m., a man got out of a dark green minivan and started firing in the 2200-block of West Thome.

The victim was shot multiple times in the head and body, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
