Escaped Nebraska inmate back in custody, another still on the run

LINCOLN, Neb. (WLS) -- One of the two convicted sex offenders who escaped from a Nebraska prison is still on the run.

But investigators say the other inmate, Armon Dixon is back in custody.

Dixon is accused of assaulting two women while on the run.

A manhunt is underway as police search for the other escapee, Timothy Clausen.

Prison officials say the inmates managed to escape Friday because of security lapses.

Investigators are trying to figure out if the men had any help.
