CHICAGO (WLS) -- Another candidate is throwing his hat into the ring in the race for Illinois governor.
Democrat Tio Hardiman is a community organizer in Chicago and was the director of Ceasefire Illinois from 2009-2013.
"I'm the only person running for governor that's gonna be a champion and a voice for the poor people of Illinois," Hardiman said.
Hardiman also ran for governor in 2014. He joins a number of other Democrats running for governor. The election is Nov. 6, 2018.
