2-year-old rescued from Lake Michigan by Coast Guard

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A two-year-old girl was brought back to life by the Coast Guard after falling into Lake Michigan.

The girl fell off a boat near Navy Pier Thursday afternoon. She was back on the boat but unresponsive when the Coast Guard crew arrived.

Seaman Amanda Wolf performed CPR on the child and was able to resuscitate her.

The girl's parents say she was wearing a life jacket at the time. She remains in a local hospital.
