CHICAGO (WLS) -- White Sox Charities raised money to help the tornado survivors in Fairdale, Illinois, as five mothers from Fairdale were part of the pre-game ceremony at US Cellular Field Sunday.
White Sox Charities and "High Socks for Hope" donated a check for $15,000 for relief efforts from the April tornadoes.
The charity was founded by Sox pitcher David Robertson after a twister devastated his hometown in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
