Freight train derails in Spring Grove; Blivin St. blocked

A freight train derailed in northwest suburban Spring Grove Tuesday morning.

No injuries have been reported . Spring Grove police said 13 empty cars derailed.

The derailment has led to Blivin Street to be blocked between Main Street and U.S. 12 because of the derailment. Blivin is expected to be closed for most of the day.
