Amtrak boosting Thanksgiving weekend train service

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Amtrak is adding train service for the busy Thanksgiving holiday, with 18 trains running between Chicago and Michigan.

Amtrak says the extra trains will operate on the Wolverine Line between Chicago and the university campus communities of Kalamazoo and Ann Arbor.

The train company suggests booking early as the Thanksgiving weekend is its busiest travel period of the year.
