Apple Vacations cancels gala at Trump Hotel in Chicago

CHCAGO (WLS) -- Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is losing more business based on his comments regarding immigration.

Apple Vacations has cancelled plans to host a hospitality industry gala at the Chicago Trump Hotel and Tower in September.

The company says the event will go on, but it won't be at a Trump property.

In a letter to its travel partners, Apple's president said the change is based on Trump's highly publicized remarks criticizing Mexican immigrants.
