Tyson Foods closing Chicago plant

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Tyson Foods is closing its Chicago plant and taking 480 jobs with it.

Tyson is the largest meat producer in the United States. The company says it plans to shut down two prepared-food plants as it shifts output to other factories.

Tyson also plans to close a pepperoni plant in Jefferson, Wis.
