Crews extinguish building fire near West Pullman

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Crews have extinguished a fire in a vacant building in the city's South Side, officials said.

The fire, located in a building in the 20-block of E. 118th Place, broke out around 12:45 p.m. and was in the building's first, second and attic floors, officials said.

Strong winds hampered fire crew efforts to extinguish the blaze, though no injuries were reported, officials said.
