Ventra deadline Sunday for CTA, Pace riders

CHICAGO (WLS) -- If you ride the CTA or Pace it's time to get your Ventra card, as the next deadline is Sunday.

After Saturday, you can no longer use the Chicago Card or Chicago Card Plus or re-load any magnetic stripe fare cards.

The CTA says most of its customers have already switched to the new fare payment system.

CTA and Pace will complete the full transition to Ventra on July 1.
