14th annual A Taste That Matters fundraiser happening this week

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Every day, thousands of families across the Chicago area struggle to put food on the table.

That's where the Northern Illinois Food Bank comes in.

The agency provides 93 million meals a year to families.

To help support its mission, the food bank is hosting its 14th annual A Taste That Matters culinary fundraiser this week at Drury Lane venue in Oakbrook Terrace.

Tiffany King, the special events manager for Northern Illinois Food Bank, and Chef Federico Comacchio from Lucca Osteria & Bar in Oak Brook joined ABC7 to discuss on Sunday morning.
