Mr. Dad's Father's Club works to empower local fathers

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Mr. Dad's Father's Club is empowering dads to be more engaged in their children's lives.

It began as a Facebook group in 2017.

Since then, it has grown into a powerful network focused on literacy, mentorship, and violence prevention.

Founder Joseph Williams joined ABC7 on Father's Day to discuss how his vision for the organization has evolved over the years.
