Mariano's South Loop to attempt world record for longest Chicago-style hot dog

CHICAGO (WLS) -- National Hot Dog Day is coming up on Wednesday.

Mariano's South Loop is aiming to break a world record for the longest Chicago-style hot dog.

The hot dog will be 50 feet in length, breaking their previous record of 44 feet in 2018 at their Bucktown location.
