CHICAGO (WLS) -- Four people were shot, one critically, Sunday afternoon at a convenience store in the West Englewood neighborhood, Chicago police said.

No one was in custody Sunday, but surveillance video captured the shooters.

The victims, two women and two men, were inside a convenience store in the 1800-block of West 63rd Street at about 12:15 p.m. when they heard several gunshots, police said. The victims ran outside and were met by four armed suspects who fired at them, police said.

"I heard about 20 shots go off. And I'm not going to lie. I ran to the back of the store and hid," said store employee Alvoro Hamilton. "I didn't know if the bullets were going to come through the windows or not. Scary."

A 26-year-old man was wounded in the eye was transported to St. Bernard Hospital by a family member. He was then transferred to Stroger Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

Another 26-year-old man was wounded in the right buttocks and left foot and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition. A 56-year-old woman was wounded multiple times in the left leg and a 48-year-old woman was wounded in the hip.

A motive for the shooting was unclear.

The four suspects were seen leaving in a white colored sedan, police said.

Shooting happened near the House of Prayer Ministries church, where services had just begun.

"Someone signaled me to come off the pulpit to step outside to see what was going on and that's when they informed me they were stuck in their cars because there was some shooting," said Pastor Michael Horbrook.

The convenience store was robbed six months ago. Owner Wesam Elboo said he may consider leaving the neighborhood and going to the suburbs.

"We're scared here," Elboo said.
