Body found in West Garfield Park basement after fire, officials say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Firefighters found a body in the basement of a West Side building after extinguishing a fire, officials said.

The building is located near Congress and Kostner in the city's West Garfield Park neighborhood. The body has been identified as 66-year-old Harvey Cobbs, Jr.

Police are continuing to investigate.
