Person stabbed in White Castle parking lot fight in Lake in the Hills

LAKE IN THE HILLS, Ill. (WLS) -- A person was stabbed in the chest outside a White Castle in north suburban Lake in the Hills.

Police said there was a fight in the parking lot of the fast food restaurant in the 200-block of Randall Road after a minor accident around 4:10 a.m. Sunday.

One vehicle fled the scene and later stopped by police. The driver was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident.

The stabbing victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Charges are pending.
