Winter coats donated by Macy's distributed on South Side

CHICAGO (WLS) -- With cold temperatures sticking around for at least a month, Macy's is sharing the warmth.

The group "Clothes for Souls" distributed winter coats on the city's South Side on Tuesday.

Macy's donated one coat for every coat purchased during the last week of October.

About 50,000 coats were donated nationwide.
