ROSEMONT, Ill. (WLS) -- Fans of comic book capers and crazy costumes have invaded the Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont this weekend for Wizard World Comic-Con.
The annual event brings together tens of thousands of fans to celebrate all forms of superhero fun. That includes movies, toys, TV shows, video games, and even collectible art pieces.
Wizard World is Chicago's biggest and longest-running comic con show. It runs run through Sunday.
As part of the comic con, actor Bruce Campbell is hosting his 3rd annual Horror Film Festival. It will feature dozens of films including world premieres and special screenings. The Horror Film Festival will take place at Muvico Rosemont 18 Theaters. Among the films showcased during the film festival is the new horror-thriller "SiREN", about a bachelor party that turns into a nightmare.
