BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (WLS) -- An Oak Lawn woman was arrested after police say she brought a loaded gun to the Bridgeview courthouse.
The Cook County Sheriff says they found a loaded .38 caliber revolver on Denise Smith, 47, Wednesday morning. Smith does not have a concealed carry permit or FOID card.
She faces charges of unlawful use of a weapon on government property and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon - no FOID. She is scheduled to appear for a bond hearing Thursday.
