CHICAGO (WLS) -- Yasmin Acree vanished when she was 15 years old. Acree's parents are now making a plea for help on what would have been her 24th birthday.
Her friends and loved ones gathered for a prayer vigil on Tuesday in front of her home in the Austin neighborhood. Acree has been missing since 2008.
Her family said someone knows where she is and they want them to come forward.
"Yasmine is either alive or dead and if she's alive, we want someone to speak up," Rev. Ira Acree, a relative, said.
Acree's family and local community leaders are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to her.
