Appeals court reverses ruling in Adel Daoud terrorism case

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A federal appeals court has reversed a landmark ruling in the terrorism case of Adel Daoud, accused of plotting to blow up a Chicago bar.

The appeals court says defense lawyers may not see secret, government intelligence court records. The court says that could hurt national security.

The case is being watched across the country because it involves foreign intelligence surveillance exposed by Edward Snowden.
