Their son was not injured, Mendel Corgan said.

"Our family is grateful for the swift assistance of the Highland Park and Deerfield first responders," she said.

Madame Zuzu's will be closed until further notice. Mendel Corgan said the crash is under investigation.

Video of the scene showed a small car halfway into the business, and the front window almost completely gone.

Police said both the driver of the vehicle and Mendel Corgan's mother were transported for treatment, but did not disclose their conditions. They said a preliminary investigation indicates it was accidental.

No further information was available, police said.
