CHICAGO (WLS) -- A fiery crash caused traffic delays on Chicago's Far South Side.
A red Jeep crashed into the concrete barrier on the ramp from 95th Street and fell onto the Bishop Ford Freeway, according to Illinois State Police.
When the Jeep crashed onto the roadway, police said it engulfed in flames at about 2:35 p.m.
The southbound lanes of traffic were diverted to I-94 south and the ramp has been closed for the investigation.
One person was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries, police said.
ISP said all southbound left lane reopeed at about 7:47 p.m.
