Boy, 12, missing from Buffalo Grove found safe

BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. (WLS) -- A 12-year-old boy reported missing in Buffalo Grove has been found safe.

Police said the 12-year-old disappeared while walking his dog Wednesday night.

The dog was returned to the family by a neighbor after being found loose.

Thursday morning, the boy was found safe and was back with his family.
