CHICAGO (NEWS RELEASE) -- The Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (IHCC) is proud to present the 2016 Make the Connection! Hispanic Business Conference on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the Sheraton Grand Chicago Hotel.
Previously the Hispanic Business Expo, the event has been redesigned to deliver more value to participants and sponsors, making it one of the only events of its kind in the nation. This single day conference is intended to help Hispanic business owners connect, collaborate and create with leaders and decision makers from major corporations and government agencies.
The IHCC Business Conference kicks off with a breakfast in the Sheraton Grand Chicago at 8:00 a.m. With more than 1,000 participants, the Opening Breakfast serves as a platform for business and political leaders to engage in diverse business development topics. Past breakfast speakers include Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Illinois Senator Dick Durbin and CEOs of some of Chicago's leading companies. After breakfast, attendees will be able to choose from four educational sessions focusing on entrepreneurship and the intersection of technology and people.
IHCC is pleased to welcome Nely Galán as the keynote speaker at the conference's Empowerment Lunch. Galán is a New York Times bestselling author and Emmy award winning producer, entrepreneur, and founder of The Adelante Movement.
More than 2,000 guests are expected to attend the 2016 Make the Connection! IHCC Business Conference. The event will include more than 40 showcase booths, 4 educational workshops, and engaging networking opportunities. Exhibitors include business leaders from the public and private sectors and top Hispanic entrepreneurs and professionals.
The individual conference registration fee is $100, which includes access to networking, educational sessions, and the closing reception. The Opening Breakfast and Empowerment Lunch are separately ticketed events.
