7-Eleven offers IRS payment option, along with slurpees

Now you can get a slurpee and pay your taxes.

Taxpayers who don't have a bank account or credit card can now pay their tax bill at a 7-Eleven.

About 7,000 stores in 34 states offer the service.

The option makes it possible for taxpayers to pay in cash without having to go to an IRS taxpayer assistance center.

Also, many 7-Eleven stores are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

There are several steps involved in the process, including clicking onto the IRS payment page, submitting personal information and receiving an emailed link to a payment code.
