CHICAGO (WLS) -- A woman was abducted and sexually assaulted at gunpoint early Wednesday on Chicago's Southwest Side, police said.

Police said the 30-year-old victim was walking eastbound on 83rd Street between Washtenaw and Talman in the Wrightwood neighborhood when two men in a silver, late model Buick approached her around 1:30 a.m.

One of the men exited the vehicle, grabbed the victim from behind and forced her into the vehicle, according to police. Then, one of the men sexually assaulted the victim while the other man, armed with a handgun, continued to drive.

The victim was eventually released and able to contact police.

The suspects were described as two black men between 25 and 30 years old, about 6-foot-2 and between 165 to 300 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a fade hairstyle, police said. One of the suspects was wearing a navy blue hooded sweater, black pants, black gym shoes and a skull cap.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
