WGCI's Kendra G: 'Abstinence is Kool'

CHICAGO -- WGCI radio personality, Kendra Gilliams, is challenging area students to join her in giving up sex for the school year.

It's part of her campaign and book, called "Abstinence is Kool." Gilliams is teaming up with WGCI and Walgreen's for the challenge.

Teens between the ages of 14-18 who participate will have an opportunity to win $2,000 by sharing their healthy lifestyle choices. The challenge motivates teens to voice their opinion on life issues through creative writing, visual arts and media arts. The challenge contest runs Oct. 1 - Nov. 30.
