Video shows van crashing into Abt store

GLENVIEW, Ill. (WLS) -- Surveillance cameras captured a van crashing into the Abt Electronics store in suburban Glenview.

The video, made exclusively available to ABC 7 Chicago, shows the van smashing through glass doors and the offenders getting out. They file into the store with a bag and large container.

Seconds later, they run out after being scared off by a store employee.

They left the store empty-handed, officials said. The van they used to break into the building was stolen, according to police, and the offenders are still on the loose.
