Ammonia leak causes evacuation of Koch Foods plant, hospitalizes 3

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Crews are on the scene of an ammonia leak at the Koch Foods plant in the city's Northwest Side.

The building, located in the 4400-block of W. Berteau, was evacuated Tuesday afternoon as a result of the leak, officials said. Three people were hospitalized in stable condition.

Officials say the leak is secured and that it is not affecting the surrounding neighborhood.
